I getting this error on my project
Mysql::Error: Lost connection to MySQL server
during query: SHOW FIELDS FROM …
i think that it’s because the mysql database don’t allow persistent
connections …
any idea?

Here is what I get when I try to install the mysql gem on WinXP. Any
ideas? This was working when I was running 0.14 Rails. 1.1 just broke
it.
