Ive beem playing w the html5 audio video stuffs and also have qtss and
icecast2 servers setup

What are you trying to do?
Couple things I’ll mention now

Html5 getusermedia you can grab a users webcam and mic

If you are wanting to share vid streams youre going to need a server.
Darwin qtss for mp4 or icecast2 which does theora vid.

Then one just connects the users webcam source to the broadcasting
server
