RadRails database not displaying

I get the following error when using the data perspective trying to
display the development database.

“Unable to connect to connect to database, see log for more info.”

I was wondering where the log could be found.

Also, my rails program is able to execute database queries and able to
also write to the database, thus there shouldn’t be a problem with the
YML file. But when isn’t the database being populated in the RadRails
data perspective?

I used to use these to manipulate my databases:

But then I found a better program that allows data importing and
in-table editing:
