Question about using an automated date stamp for an abbreviation in the SciTE Editor Abbreviations F

Hello,

I am using SciTE Editor ver. 1.59 and would like to do the following:

I want to enter an abbreviation into my Abbreviations File that will
produce a date stamp for entering comments in my Ruby code.

I would like to produce something like:

03/12/13 Note:

I am just learning about abbreviations [I stumbled into them while trying to figure out how to do Macros], is it possible to have an
abbreviation that can automatically produce the above note with the
current
date as shown?

Thanks for your help,

Harry T.

While people here may know this question seems better placed in a SciTE
forum.

Kind regards

Well, I’m not saying that you won’t get help here - it just seems
there are places with more knowledge and hence higher likelihood of
good feedback.

Cheers
