Quartus II

Hi list,

I’m going through our wiki and saw this:
http://gnuradio.org/redmine/wiki/gnuradio/QuartusUnderLinux

According to this page, Quartus II is Windows-only, so it proposed
different solutions (Wine, qemu, VMWare). However, it seems to me
there’s a Linux version:
https://www.altera.com/support/software/download/altera_design/quartus_we/dnl-quartus_we.jsp
and it’s been around since 2008.

Does anyone know if this can be used to build the USRP1 FPGA image (no
time to try it out myself)? Should we update this page?

Thanks

Only within the last release or two has Quartus II for Linux been
available as a free download. Previously, Quartus II Web version has
been only available for Windows, and Linux support was only available
as a paid product.

Since it’s now a free download, feel free to update the wiki.
