Putty mysql error

I get the following mysql error when I try to connect to my Linux
machine using putty.

Unknown database ‘db_develoment’ (Mysql::Error)
any idea what i need to do to avoid this.

The same code works pefectly well on the Linux box.

Hi Akanksha,

I’m not yet sure what yuo are doing. Have you set up a putty tunnel on
port
3306 from your development machine to your database machine?

Are you sure the tunnel works. What does telnet
ip-of-your-database-machine
3306 tell you?
