I just saw this on Emacs mailing list
http://mathrick.org/files/emacs-demo.gif
quite interesting bit i guess.
Using rcodetools and semantic , i think this would be possible for
Ruby also. Do we need this? I dunno, I may find it useful. Sometimes
old hippie expand doesn’t cut actually. Has anyone tried semantic with
Ruby?
Can we get this as well for Ruby:

I’ve been maintaining a set of semantic Ruby bindings for some time:
http://www.nodewarrior.org/~debertin/wisent-ruby.html
Take a test drive and let me know how it goes. I would say it’s
“beta-quality”; I’ve been using it under emacs (ECB) for almost a year
now.

Wow! Very impressive.
Can we get this as well for Ruby:
I’m not so sure … If “esense” is based on semantic, then yes,
absolutely, if it’s written to only work with Erlang then I think it
would be difficult to port it to Ruby.
I will look into how hard it would be.
