Hi,

I’ve noticed the increased interest in running GnuRadio and the USRP
with
the PS3 as the computing platform.

My naive thought is that this is to explore the performance of the cell
processor architecture.

Would someone be willing to offer me their thoughts on this choice and
what
are the pros and cons, from their experience?
I apologise in advance if its a silly question.

Pros: 25 GFLOPs peak per SPE (PS3 has 6 usable SPEs)
Cons: different/low-level programming environment.
