Problems with rake

I receive an error when I try to create or setup database using rake
command. Rake is installed.

Error: bash: /opt/local/bin/rake: /opt/local/bin/ruby: bad
interpreter: No such file or directory. Is it not in the path but how
come I can to gem list show the gems?

Please help
