Hi all,
I’ve created a ferret analyzer to replace accentuated letters by
non-accentuated using the MappingFilter Analyzer. This filter works
well in a little ruby script but in my rails (2.0.2) project, the
search has a weird behavior. It seems the find_by_contents method
doesn’t use my Analyzer for the search.
So for a record containing the word “élevé”, the search finds the
record the query “eleve” but not whith the query “élevé”.
Does someone experienced such a problem ?
