Permission denied

Hi to all.
I’m a newbye, and this is my first contact with list.

I have installed ruby and rails.
My ruby local home page works, but development.log tell me
"Permission denied -
/var/www/html/rubyapp/…/config/…/tmp/sessions//ruby_sess.e2677250ed380e4c
"

what’s happen?
I think permission rights are ok
(simlink towards public are root|root with 777).

Someone can help me please ?

chmod -r a+rwx tmp
should work

yep, also had this problem with Radiant CMS

try this if your stuck…

chmod -R a+rw cache
