OT: Failing site map

For some reason google keeps telling me there is something wrong with my
sitemap. After reading the specs over and over of what is required I
can’t find what is the problem.

Here is the sitemap index file ie contains links to all the other
sitemap files.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> http://judyolsen.com/judyolsen.xml 2008-07-28 http://demo.onlinelistings.ca/demo.xml 2008-07-28 http://test.onlinelistings.ca/test.xml 2008-07-28 http://soldonslavelake.onlinelistings.ca/soldonslavelake.xml 2008-07-28 http://DaveGaskell.onlinelistings.ca/DaveGaskell.xml 2008-07-28

This is what google says:
Unsupported file format
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure
it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

If anyone has had any luck getting it to work I would really appreciate
it if you could help me out.

** Update
It turns out it wasn’t the sitemap that was failing it was that I was
missing some additional attributes in the sitemapindex tag to prevent it
from being
validated.
