OPN 2001 barcode reader

I am after some help in how best achieve the automated downloading of
barcodes scanned.

the barcode scanner is a OPN 2001 this site give you more info
http://www.readerware.com/kb/questions.php?questionid=88

I have access to the C/C++ SDK but as I’ve not done anything like this
would like help.

anyone got or done something like this?
I’ve read in this newsgroup some messages but they didn’t seem too
helpful to me.

believe the scanner will be working in a windows XP OS environment but
crossplatform would be even better.

ALso from my very brief look at the SDK I recall an OSX directory how
would those files fit in with ruby on a *nix box?

cheers,

Hi Dave

We have a freeware download utility for the OPN2001 which you can find
on our website on the OPN2001 product page:

http://www.ers-online.co.uk/p814/opticon-opn-2001-barcode-memory-scanner

I hope this is of some use to you, please feel free to contact us.

Kind Regards
