A few months ago Eastmedia, my employeer, had a two day hackathon.
One of the products was onebigchatroom.com.
One massive and loud chatroom / social experiment - where you can delete
other chatter’s messages in realtime.
It was a nice retreat from everyday work to experiment with:
- HTML 5 Audio Libraries
- WebSockets (Faye http://faye.jcoglan.com/)
- CoffeeScript
- CSS Animations
- The true face of human

This would be a nice starter app to peruse if you have moderate
interest
and skill in any of those areas
and would like to play around on your own. It’s the product of a
hackathon
- and some of the code shows it -
but we’re okay with that - it was fun to build.
