The above code works in SciTE. But in Linux I get
“csv_test.rb:2: undefined method `read’ for CSV:Class
(NoMethodError)”
Could it be different version leaves and if so how do
I get the versions? I tried “gem list” but the
command is not found.

CSV is in the Ruby standard library, so I recommend getting the latest
version.
I checked it on my Gentoo box, it works fine there.
