Newbie q@ apache passenger subdomain 'www'

hi,

i have a working setup with apache + passenger. the app gets deplaoyed
via
cap in ‘multistage’ mode,meaning i have a subdomain called staging:

staging.domain.com

q:

what am i supposed to to with the ‘www’ in my dns setup , what apache
setup
shall i do here?

ok, so a serverAlias with * should do the trick. but how do i set the
priorities then?
