Newbie help

Greetings Great Gurus of RoR

I do have a bunch of questions regarding RoR i did follow a book titled “RoR for Dummies” but it seems i cant go anywhere everytime I create a controller shoppingcart show and check http://localhost:300x/shopping_cart/show it gives me default error ““We’re sorry, but something went wrong.We’ve been notified about this issue and we’ll take a look at it shortly.”” heres the log

is it the path of my installation that went wrong???
can you tech me the right path??
Why is it in the book it sez there “show.rhtml” but in the version of rails it gives me show.html.erb

you should only see that if you’re running in production mode – there’s
a “development” mode for a reason :slight_smile:

So do you have the mysql gem installed? For that matter, do you
have mysql installed?

Looks like you’re running Windows, so I can’t help much with the
details. Probably your best bet is to google “rails windows mysql”
and take your pick of the suggestions.
