Expectations and requirements for the job are:
Languages:
- Experience with ruby / rails (required)
- Knowledge and understanding of ruby on rails (required)
- Minimum 1 year experience with HTML/DHTML/JavaScript (required)
- Basic understanding of SQL (required)
Frameworks:
- JBoss Stack (Bonus)
Concepts:
- Knowledge and understanding of networking concepts; tcp/ip, udp,
sockets, http, dns, etc (bonus)
Operating Systems:
- Ability to fluently work on linux (Redhat) and on windows 2000/xp
(required)
The job requires the individual to be able to work productively in a
team environment as well as independently.
The job will require the individual to be able to interact with multiple
sites (VPN) and may require some travel to Boca Raton, FL)
Independent Contractor Welcome! 6 weeks minimum could turn into
permanent position. We have an intense project delivery schedule using
rapid design / development methodology.
