The prospective candidates should excel in ROR/PHP/MYSQL/Python
development skill set. He should
„X Develop interactive activity templates in XML and Flash Action
script 3.0.
„X Develop core classes and functions for our in-house XML authoring
tool.
„X Using SQL to debug end user issues.
„X Tweaking PHP and/or RoR code to fix bugs or add functionality when
necessary.
„X Expected to write scripting in PHP and produce graphics work
including some design
„X The candidate will be designing, implementing, testing and deploying
scalable web platforms
„X Develop enabling tools that assist in the course development
process.
„X Research new technologies that will streamline development cycles.
„X Have the ability to deliver projects successfully and on time with
little oversight required.
„X Handle Data Migration. Federate out vertically stacked database
„X Managing Migration to a Service architecture.
You will be responsible for building features on games that are viewed
by millions of users across MySpace and/or Facebook

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
1+ years of solid software development experience
Strong knowledge of ROR, PHP, MYSQL and all-around coding skills.
Extensive design and game development experience.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Strong analytical skills and ability to assist other team members in
problem solving
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
Experiencing building XML sockets in flash to build multi-user games
or applications would be ideal!
