Need a good source to learn automating windows 7 apps using Ruby 2.0

I am new to Ruby and want to use it for automating tasks on my desktop,
such as opening applications closing them, entering data System admin
tasks etc. Would be great if some sources are suggested, wherein I can
learn step by step
