Natual Language processing for Addresses

Does anyone know of a gem or plugin that does for street addresses
what Chronic does for dates?
And in a similar tone, does anyone know of somthing similar for names
of places and people (I’m guessing the answer is no but it doesn’t
hurt to ask).

graticule/acts_as_geocodable will normalize addresses, so you may be
able to get it to do what you want.
