Mysteriously unsubscribed

The flow of messages from this list stopped, for me, at 18:11 on the 6th
September. I didn’t notice for a while, as I had a couple of hundred
messages backlog, but today no new messages were arriving and I thought
I’d check Google G. to see what was happening. Plenty of new
messages there - so I created an account for this email address and
found I was not a member of this group.

I’ve re-subscribed (20 minutes ago, and no mail has come through yet).

This is annoying - I previously had a complete archive since early March
2005.

Strange - the confirmation email for setting up the Google G.
account came through OK.

Ha! Email just came through from Google telling me about the problem,
with a link for reactivating mail delivery.

Apologies for blaming Google when it appears the problem was with my
ISP.
