MySQL sometime fail to record timestamps, become NULL

My Rails apps using MySQL and sometime timestamps, created_at and
updated_at, become NULL.
Why it fails to record?

Does anyone know about this?

Have you been able to narrow down the problem to a small example ?

No I haven’t.
I have no idea about this problem yet.
