Hi-
I posted this under the MySQL group as well, but I thought some other
Rails folks may have seen this before??
“Mysql::Error: Can’t create/write to file ‘/var/lib/mysql/
#sql_146a_0.MYI’ (Errcode: 30)”
Anyone know what this means, and how to fix it?
Thanks!

Well the obvious questions are is /var/lib/mysql/ writable by the
mysql process?, is there free space on that device?, is it mounted
read-write? etc…

Certainly. That’s the strange thing, this worked prior to today for
the past couple weeks, no change to permissions…

This issue was caused by a hardware failure. the disk went down so
nothing could access it…
