I am trying to deploy my app on Engineyard and I have not been able to
get it working.
When I deploy through the UI everything goes through fine but I
receive a nginx 404 error when I view in a browser. I am able to
change the mongrel_cluster to point to my app and then manually start
the cluster. Although, the public directory is outside of my app and
therefore all the images, js, and css files are not accessible but the
site works for the most part.
The mongrel_cluster file is in a config directory outside of my app
and therefore the app environment files are not accessible.
I have seen a few posting around similar issues and they have been
resolved but I haven’t really seen a solution. .
