I am seeing quite a bit about code that was written by Eric C. for
aircraft Mode S decoders and the like.

Where can I find the code ?

Hello,

I searched and it appears the subversion repository is no longer
available. That is where the code was online. My subversion branch was
not carried over to the git repository. I will have to look in my
vast software archives for the code.
