ML Not taking off or skip command

I’ve tried a dozen times to do a off or a skip
to the ctl address for the ML and it always
tells me its not a valid command
With the # and without in the mail body.

I prefer to read on google, than have my mailbox killed.

Help!

You want List-Unsubscribe.
