Hi,
I’ve fixed some memory leak bugs in trunk. One of the
biggest bug of them affects most of GObject based object…
It seems that it’s a critical bug…
I’ll release 0.17.1 as a bug fix release of 0.17.0 in this
month. If you know another bug, please report as soon as
possible.
Thanks,
kou

I want to use 0.18.0 not 0.17.1 for the next
release. Because the current trunk includes new features. So
0.18.0 plan will slide to 0.19.0 plan.

I have just tested with by booh-classifier program. This memory leak
is very much a problem using rg2 0.17.0 (I load images, and memory
accumulate quite rapidly and is never freed). It is good because you
new release 0.18.0 fixes the bugs I can see in my program! Also, it is
bad luck, because when I developped this application, I think with
0.16.0 and sometime with trunk, there was not this memory leak (I made
many efforts/checks for memory caching and memory reclaiming).
Thanks for this fix!!
