Hola, me gustaria saber si existe alguna herramienta que me funcione
bajo rails
2.0 con montgrel y nginx, para manejar mysql, no e podido con consola y
estoy tratandodo de hacerlo con fastcgi y php para que phpmyadmin me
corra

Gracias Jaime, llevo algun tiempo usando MySQL, pero sin atreverme a
usar el
terminal (phpMyAdmin sólo). y la verdad que me he llevado una grata
sorpresa
al seguir este tuto de la pagina oficial y ver que es facil. La verdad
que
trabajando con ruby y con rails uno termina cogiendo cariño al terminal
(Mac
OS X en mi caso). Nada más solo garcias

CocoaMySQL es otro entorno grafico para manejar nuestras bases de datos
en
osx, para mi es el mejor

De nada, pero es sólo el primer resultado que devuelve Google al buscar
“mysql tutorial”.
Entiendo que da un tanto de miedo el terminal al principio pero en
realidad
mysql son 4 comandos… igual que subversion, igual que rails… 
Se
tarda
mucho menos en aprender esos pocos comandos que en volverse loco
instalando
phpmyadmin.
