Logging not working

I think this might have been asked but does anyone have any issues
with rails apps (2.2) that stop logging? I am running

Rails 2.2
Tomcat 5.5
Jruby 1.2
Java 1.6
Solaris x64_86

After a few hours i just stop getting logs in the localhost log from
the application its very very odd. Anyone else see this?

not really, it just kinda stops which i think is odd.

Hmm…I don’ thave any theories at the moment. Have you tried an update
to JRuby 1.2? I know we fixed some IO-related leaks and other problems.

Need more information :slight_smile:

yea we are on jruby 1.2 and rails 2.2 with no luck. Just wasnt sure
if this was an issue with Rack, Rails or Jruby.

It’s a new one to me. Look at my misfired reply in the
invalidateCacheDescendants thread for one possible direction to explore.
