I think it can be taught to practically anyone who wants to get up and
running
…and beyond.

Ive been writing MVC web applications for 14 years.
For 3 years I taught Object Oriented programming.

No thanks.

Not without even a free taster of the material so people can judge the
quality (unless they judge it by “website as single image”…)

BTW I think there’s a “no advertising” rule on this mailing list… I
can’t point you at it, because the Ts&Cs are buried away somewhere and
I’ve not seen them for ages… I’m happy to be corrected if I’m
wrong… but I think your post was out of line with the “rules”.
Also… if you post to the list advertising your RoR specialism for
sale without having ever posting a helpful message before, please
don’t be surprised at a little raised-eyebrow scepticism.

Hey Colin,

Ya got me on the HTML validation. My little brochure is kinda sloppy
at the moment. I’ll fix it up later.

Just busy at the moment. I’ll have some cool demos to put up as soon
as I get them done.

I concede the point of the others about how I haven’t ever posted a
helpful comment. I guess I’m in the wrong place. I’m trying to reach
those that don’t even have the patience to seek help in a newsgroup.
THAT’s how accessible I think Ruby and Rails are. I want to pull as
many people along as I can.

Nope, this is exactly the right place to post helpful comments… and
a perfect opportunity to start - pick the next question, and
contribute.
I wouldn’t be complaining if you had a small signature to your posts
that pointed people at your commercial offering. It’s just the blatant
“pimping” of services (against the rules and spirit of the mailing
list) that’s a little riling.
