About six months ago there was a post about libxml and Windows (see

For anyone still interested, I’ve built a binary for 1.8.5 and posted it
on my website for lack of a better place. It would be great to get it
added to the libxml RubyGem.
The binary is availabe at
Ruby, libxml and Windows | CFIS.
