Latest version of Ruby breaks minitest/rg on Mac OSX

Just upgraded my Ruby on my MacBook Pro, which is still on High Sierra, to 2.6.3 and now minitest/rg is broken. I get the following system message:

Traceback (most recent call last):

2: from ruby_functions_practice_spec.rb:2:in `’

1: from /Users/newowner/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.6.3/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.6.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:54:in `require’

/Users/newowner/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.6.3/lib/ruby/site_ruby/2.6.0/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:54:in `require’: cannot load such file – minitest/rg ( LoadError )

I think this has come up before but needed a fix from the maintainers of Ruby. Can anybody help?

Many thanks,
Suzi

UPDATE -

downgraded to Ruby 2.5.7 and reinstalled minitest-rg and it all works now
