Jruby --version strange error

Hello Folks.
With a strange error that appeared in my JRuby (Win XP) installation:

After trying to check de JRuby version through:

c:> jruby --version

I got the following error:

@“jruby.bat” “C:/JRuby/jruby-1.4.0RC1/bin/jruby” %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7
%8 %9
GOTO :EOF
:WinNT
@“jruby.bat” “%~dpn0” %*
was unexpected at this time.

I certainly don´t get what could be the root cause for the failure, I
already checked my environment variables, and apparently %JAVA_HOME% and
%PATH% are ok.

Any hint or help would be very appreciated!

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

Can you upgrade to 1.4RC3? In 1.4RC3 you’ll get the native Windows
launcher for JRuby (jruby.exe), that might improve things.

Thanks,
