JRuby and JasperReports intergration

I have recently been integrating a rails app with jasper reports (not
for
the first time), this time however I’ve gone down the JRuby route and
calling Jasper directly.

I was thinking maybe this could be a could topic for the JRuby wiki? Any
thoughts?

Sure that would be great! We love to hear about new and novel uses of
JRuby. Feel free to create a page and link to it however you see fit.

Have you created it?
I’m new with jasper and I want to use it in my jruby on rails
applications.
I need a way to start.
