Jquery authenticity_token issue

I am using the Jquery FullCalendar in an app. When I click on a day I
post
an ajax request. I keep getting the 422 response as the
authenticity_token
is invalid. I put the skip_before_filter to not require it but I keep
getting the 422 error.

skip_before_filter :verify_authenticity_token

I found a post on how to send the token along but that has not fixed
the
issue.
