Candidate should be available to work onsite Monday to Friday and
should
be able to work on W2 basis.
Position Title: Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 9 Months Contract
*Responsibilities *
Participate in design discussions/reviews
Work with project lead, as well as other team members, to meet
aggressive deadlines
Write clean, performant and well-documented code
Design, develop, document and implement new functionality, as
well as enhancements to existing software
Troubleshoot defects, identify root cause and engineer best
solution
*Requirements *
Experience with systems integration a plus
Strong Linux/UNIX administration ability
Solid understanding of network stacks
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Mastery of the following tools/languages
o Ruby on Rails
o BASH shell scripting
o RDBMS (MySQL preferred)
o Rspec/Cucumber
o HTML/CSS
o Javascript (using jQuery)
