Our client is looking for an energetic and organized candidate to fill a
Web Software Developer role. In this position, you will work as a key
member of the Engineering team to design, build and test a
groundbreaking
product for a premier global telecom company.
Participate in architecture planning and review meetings with the VP of
Technology and Senior Software Tech Lead; participate in the technical
discussions and implementation meetings with the in-house team of
architects and engineers and project managers, document APIs for 3rd
party
developers.
You will be a core contributor Ruby on Rails / JavaScript Developer of
an
SOA / Web Services platform that integrates with internal and 3rd party
systems.
Qualifications
BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 3+ years of developing and coding front-end and middle-tier of Web
applications in Rails, Rspec, Cucumber - Excellent coding and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) skills
- Demonstrated coding experience in two or more of the following: Ruby
on
Rails, JavaScript and AJAX using TDD - Front-end Web application development knowledge: CSS, JavaScript and
AJAX - Proficiency in working with Web service based APIS, including Soap,
REST - Working knowledge integrating SQL based database calls into middleware
and front-end modules and scripts
