Fort Hill is a technology firm specializing in optimizing learning
transfer and behavior change in the field of executive and leadership
development. Our flagship software-as-a-service product enables
Fortune 500 companies to transform the way they use training to drive
business results.

We are currently seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our
development team. This is an opportunity to work with a great team and
shape the next generation of our product.

We are looking for someone with a passion for writing high-quality,
maintainable code. Someone who knows just because the code works
doesn’t mean you are done.

We work part of the week from home and part of the week in office. If
you only want to work from home this is not the right position for
you.

This is a full time contract-to-hire position. We will offer the right
person employment after about 3 months as a contractor.

Specific Capabilities Required:

• At least 1 year of full time professional Ruby on Rails development
experience
• In depth knowledge of Ruby of Rails, Javascript, HTML, and CSS

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

• Passion for writing high quality, readable and maintainable code.
• A flexible attitude with proven experience of successful working in
a small development team
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail and Quality Oriented

Pluses:

• Experience working on an agile team
• Experience working with test-driven development
