This position is with one of the nation’s premier workplaces, located
in Washington, DC. We are looking for a very sharp, cross functional
developer with strong Ruby and front end development experience. You
will be working with a team of people who are developers at the core
and display a type of passion only others like them can truly
understand. The ability to work independently and in a team is a must
as this position will challenge you in many ways.
Required Skills:
- 5-7+ years software development experience.
- 1+ years experience with Ruby / Ruby-on-Rails
- Strong expertise and engagement throughout full SDLC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are imperative as
candidate will be expected to deliver with minimal direction. - Good overall database skills.
- Experience with Python or other scripting technologies in addition
to JavaScript is preferred. - JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Google App.Engine experience is desired.
- Ability to work independently, and work quickly on your feet.
