seeking a seasoned technology leader intimately familiar with web
based data rich platforms and the people and project management
approaches that lead to a successful launch the ongoing product
refinement for its client base. The beta version of this platform has
been so well received that they have exceeded their initial sales
targets by sixty percent! The ideal candidate will have a strong RoR
technology background with market changing web implementations and
some exposure to the government space.
(Refer the best manager you ever worked for and perhaps you could work
for them again! They will inherit a team of twenty and grow it to
forty or fifty people! All positions are onsite only)

I was thinking the same thing. There are lots of great female
developers and tech managers out there. That headline is just
offensive.

Well, maybe I am wrong, I did think about this, being an Alpha Female
myself, but I figured any fellow Alpha Female would get that the phrase
is
simply poetic rhythm, its just doesn¹t flow as well with ³female² added
in
there and of course it is not meant to exclude Alpha Females, I think we
are
way beyond that aren¹t we, in other words, a true Alpha Female would be
secure enough in her power to interpret the phrase as it is intended -
a
bit of poetic license.
I hope that clears up my intention.

Nah. By definition Alpha Females don’t need defending. Alpha Males
know that. Betas, not so much ;-).

Tell you what – I have lots of Alpha Female friends. I’ll run this by
them and get their opinions. I’d bet money that every last one would
agree with me, not you. The women I know are secure enough in their
femininity that they don’t like being called men.
And I’ll stop here, because this isn’t the gender studies list. I will
share my results, though.
