Voylla an upcoming online lifestyle product company needs Senior
Software Development Engineer (SSDE) with 4+ years of web application
development experience. The SSDE will report directly into VP,
Technology and will help building great customer experience through
development and deployment of the company’s web presence. The SSDE’s
responsibilities will include but not limited to Design, Develop, and
Deploy company’s website, internal, and external tools that will ensure
smooth execution of company’s operations.
Required Skills:
· Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science from a top-ranking
college.
· 4+ years of experience in the software and web application
development.
· 2+ years of development and delivery experience with Ruby
preferred.
· Hands on experience coding in more than one currently popular web
application framework.
· Experience with any dynamic languages is a big plus.
· Should be able to ace problems in data structures and algorithms
· Strong knowledge of object oriented design principles
· Knowledge of software best practices, like test driven
development and continuous integration
· Have worked on the analysis, design, coding and implementation of
large scale, custom built object-oriented applications
· Experience working with Agile Methodologies
· Experience with UNIX system administration and web server
configuration.
· Knowledge of Internet protocols and database management systems.
· Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Passion to work in a start-up environment with a motive to
deliver best customer experience
