Java/ruby build options (buildr)?)

I’ve been checking out buildr for building java & ruby applications…

I need to build jruby on rails code, build wars, deploy using
capistrano(?),
build flex swfs etc

anyone have any positive/negative experiences with buildr? what other
frameworks do people use? does anyone just use rake?

I use buildr running under jruby to build all my Java projects (moved
from maven 2).

It works well, although the startup time is a bit slow and the nailgun
thing to speed that up
doesn’t work right now, I reported a bug on that.

However it is much faster than maven! (Even with the slow startup).
