Installing Ruby On windows

This is what i saw in the cmd while linking The Ruby 2.3.0 Package Using
Development cmd for VS2015

so what is the problem ?! ?!

Yeah. Usually the windows version lags behind a bit.

It’s been years since I last really used windows. Back then, ruby on
windows worked very fine, including ruby-gnome, which surprised me. :slight_smile:

All my GUIs that I write under linux, will also work on windows. But
it’s hard to test if you don’t regularly use windows.

I can not help with the error linking miniruby.exe or more specifically
“__imp____pioinfo” but have a look at other ruby guys who use windows,
in particular luis lavena and others. Since they are able to run ruby on
windows, they have probably found out that particular problem already.

EDIT: Actually while they have no 2.3.0, they have 2.3.3, which is quite
new, so why do you not try that? Since they distribute binaries, they
must have managed to compile it.
