Inject method

hi guys,

can someone explain (verbosely!) the inject method to me, or point me to
some good reference with some good detailed examples? i find it pretty
attractive and am trying to find excuses to use it somewhere as i heard
it is a very powerful tool

From command prompt if you type
ri Enumerable#inject

will get what you are asking.
