I use ubntu10.04 with gem 1.3.5.I try setup.rb.It say only use apt-get
is only one way to get updated gem but I try many times to use this
command but it did not work.

You should install rubygems-update gem.
$ sudo gem install rubygems-update
$ sudo update_rubygems
That will do the trick.

You could also try managing your ruby versions and gem sets with RVM.

It did not work update_rubygems is not recognized as command
update_rubygems: command not found
