Http://localhost:3000/index.html does not open my home page

Hi all

How can I change the setup in order to open my home page “index.html”
located inside the Public folder when I type
http://localhost:3000/index.html

Check your config/routes.rb and read how to set your root route in
there and then delete the standard index.html page and you should be
set to go.
