How would you suggest getting around this problem of installing Ruby-Debug

I found out that the gem is not ready for version 1.9.3 as shown here:

However, as I attempt to follow the instructions in the link, I have
trouble installing both linecache and ruby-debug altogether. Has anyone
of you managed to get around that particular problem?
