How to...Have a proxy URL

I’m running it on mongrel server…
Also I need to pass the locale parameter…only the first time…

But I want my URL to be more user friendly as:
http://myapplication.com

Can anyone please tell me how do I this???

You need to run it behind a webserver such as apache or nginx

Google rails + mongrel + apache

or rails + nginx

or rails + passenger
