module Math - RDoc Documentation
Math::log(Math::E) # => 1.0
Math::log10(10) # => 1.0
for kinder syntax, you can include the Math module
include Math
log(E) # => 1.0
log10(10) # => 1.0

Or maybe the OP was looking for logger.rb in the standard library:

or one of the gems like log4r. Who knows?
